Hopefully I'll get to take new pictures of the super-cutie not-quite-babies soon. Had such a great weekend with them, as always.
I know this is terribly overdue. The Junior Mini-Thesis Show was a success. Our entire class worked so hard and it all showed; the faculty was very impressed with the level of craftsmanship that turned out. They're holding high expectations for us next year.
Some of my personal favorite collections that made it to the top 40 in the auditorium on mannequins. It was pretty official with the nameplats and spotlights and mannequins:
Melissa Marcial's menswear inspired by sleep patterns: Sam Green's very versatile collection jump-started from Schiele:Maria Robla:Lauren Greenland's architecturally draped collection (I want it):Leslie Jones'. A second delivery is scheduled for August where some of the shirts will be made in black. Left to right: Melissa Marcial, myself, Remiel, David Marshall, Minsun Kim: Underneath are the Lucky Seven Slouchbag finalists:All the ups and downs of getting to this point was worth it. Great things are in store for next year.
Second fitting happened yesterday. Everything was fine and very well with the Second Look (phew). She's so amazingly CUTE!
Nappa vest + Knossos dress: Ms. Caponera's mom made these delightful lemon meringue madeleines to share with us:Sneak peak at the new and improved Skylar pant:I had a brief moment of panic yesterday when I realised how little time we had left and how much more I had to do. The jury comes to review next week, so everything is due next Friday. We'll do what we have to do!

It's so hot. So I stay at the River Park by the water until the sun goes down. My favorite place on this island:Hello New Jersey! My apartment (the one on the left), naturally:Mmmm school is getting wrapped up and we're in for the home stretch! There's still plenty of work to do and this nice weather has certainly been distracting. At this point I hate all but the model's look in this "Mini-Thesis" and want to scrap it all.
Tomorrow is Kristin's second fitting for the finished lambskin vest and cotton piqué shirt-dress; I'm really excited!

Spring is finally rolling around; there's lots of rain and the weather is getting warmer. Yesterday was the perfect Sunday: Apparently all the toxins absorbed through the bottoms of my feet:I'm embarrassed to say how much I spent on these Opening Ceremony sandals, but I'll keep telling myself that they'll be worth it: Things are much better after some turbulence.
Goals: -Sacrifice a few things until bank account recovers -Pass the semester, with flying colors -Get in shape/drop some poundage before summertime -Take a road trip to the beach with shiny new license -Make a new wardrobe for upcoming return at CK Collection (SO excited!)
