Yelle concert at Webster Hall was. So much fun. Of course I went with the best:

The show was packed, naturally and we were mixing sweat with all kinds of people. She was so energetic and consistent with her recorded work, never sang out of tune and kept great energy. Their adorable French accents were almost too cute to bear and they all had such positive energy. It was definitely one of the better shows that we've attended and it was sososososososo fun OmGZz.

Afterward we went to eat at Around the Clock to finish a great night. Sigh.

Now for the 2 weeks of hell. Probably the worst 2 weeks of the year.

-Completed and perfected jacket patterns due

Thursday:
-40 painted croquis for Swap Project due
-Finishes and flats for Swap Project due

Saturday and Sunday:
-Machine Knitting class for 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
-Machine Knitting moodboard and sketches due
-Babies

Thursday:
-40 croquis, moodboard and swatchboard for Gap Project group 1
-40 croquis, moodboard and swatchboard for Gap Project group 2 due
-Shopping reports for both groups due
-Finishes and flats for Gap Project group 1 due
-Finishes and flats for Gap Project group 2 to be completed in class

I'm going to die. Like.
Literally.
Die.

Starting to freak out a little and feel sort of really overwhelmed.

Things are good, and I'm having fun, even though I have a deathly canker sore on the side of my mouth, again. Eating hurts, so I just won't do it. Will post new pictures when something interesting happens.

Little Bit

Between school, babies and my brand-spanking-new internship, I haven't had much time to do anything else (and that includes sleeping and eating).

And friends, duh:

On average, I've slept 2 or 3 hours every night this past week. It almost feels routine now. A routine for torture, going through the day half-dead and with what feels like someone putting out their cigarette in my eyeballs.
Things are good though. Nothing THAT exciting, aside from working in Calvin Klein Collection knits. No big deal, right? I'm on the same floor as the celebrity atelier, so let's see who I'll run into in the near future and what sorts of adventures I'll be taking on.

Seven New York after party:
So fun. It was the break from a horrific first week that we ALL needed. I was so swamped with work and tired that I skipped both Marc by Marc and Zac Posen.

Marc Jacobs collection was so fun. The runway was made of intersecting mirrors and the models came out from 6 different doors of mirrors.
The best part? J.Lo and Posh walking in, holding hands:
Saw Miss Jay from Top Model, Padma Whatsherface, the Bob, the Talley, the Coddington, Nicole Richie, Elijah Wood, The Zoe, and of course the Marc. Stood right behind Richie Rich and Miss Bunny and friend.

My God, I've never been so insanely busy. Jason, Tiff and I got a new apartment in Chelsea. It's beautiful.

The start of school was extremely rough, and I'll have to jump on the wagon, fast and catch up. This year will undoubtedly be the roughest year so I apologize in advance to my friends outside of my classes, because I probably will be out of touch until like, December.

Nonetheless we're having the best of times with the best of friends so it's all good, despite having only 10 hours of sleep the past 4 nights.
